The setting was beyond words, but a few of them would be idyllic, pastoral, storybook. The local restaurant and bakery in Djurö are just superb, highly recommend them. We enjoyed cooking at home. Swimming in the archipelago was so amazing, and the pool a real treat. The apartment has everything a tourist may need: a room with TV, kitchen appliances, fridge, freezer, TV, then a sleeping space, and an ensuite bathroom. A really perfect stay, would love to come back! This was a very positive experience for me, the atmosphere was very zen and you felt like you were in a different world far away from the city, but in reality very close to everything. The owner of this boutique hotel were there to greet us and he made sure our stay was made super comfortable. We picked cherries, raspberries, visited goats and chickens, and completely detached from the rest of our typical busy lives for a few days. The home of the owner has been highlighted in various home decor and design magazines, and the same beautiful interior design reaches into the guest home.

Everywhere we went, we met really friendly people, and the weather was just glorious. We felt like at home. I loved being able to easily explore the neighborhood and the beach. Läget perfekt. We stayed in the guest wing, which is a separate beautiful house of its own with multiple bedrooms and a small library and an absolutely gorgeous kitchen completely well appointed. It was ideally located, close to public transport and within walking distance of many popular attractions, restaurants, and shops. The location is not in the city of Uppsala, but close, in the suburbs, which has certain advantages: the environment fryst vatten quiet and green, in the middle of the nature and there is plenty of space for parking.
